Central European Tour – Part 2 (Prague)

Day 4

Our Tour Director grew up in Prague so she is undoubtedly an expert on the city.  In her opinion, Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.   Even though we were only there for a day, I had to agree with her.  We gradually fell in love with this place as we walked along the narrow cobblestone streets.  There was something new to discover around every corner.  The architecture of the buildings varied across different eras.

Another thing we loved about Prague was that things were very affordable.  Take our favourite souvenir for example: magnets in other parts of Europe will cost you between 4 to 10 Euros.  In Prague, a good quality locally made magnet costs only 1.50 Euro.  That was pretty reasonable wasn’t it?
